- The Thai restaurant must have been in business for
no less than one year.
- The restaurant must be open to customers for no
less than five days per week.
- The restaurant must provide areas with various
facilities such as dining facilities. kitchen, restrooms, etc.,
according to health and safety requirements.
- The restaurant must be certified by major credit
card companies, e.g. American Express, Visa, etc.
- The restaurant must employ an experienced Thai head
chef or a chef with no less than one year experience and training in
preparing Thai Cuisine.
- The restaurant must use an adequate proportion of
Thai raw materials and equipment for preparation of Thai dishes.
- The restaurant must provide no less than six types
of Thai dishes from six menu categories specified in item 6 of
application form.
- The restaurant must be inspected and approved by
officials of the Thai Trade Center or Office of the Commercial
Affairs.
